I believe there are a lot of good stories out there, especially by newer authors, that deserve to be read. My mission is to publish good speculative fiction, be it science fiction, fantasy, horror, or any  mixture thereof.

I want the stories in Maelstrom Speculative Fiction to make people think, to make them feel and wonder. I want stories that stand out. I want people to know when they open an issue of Maelstrom Speculative Fiction that they are going to be transported to another place and end up changed by the journey. Most of all I want them to enjoy it.
